Motorists may be tempted to take out a Car Finance deal for the Jaguar XF after the vehicle scooped a top automobile award.

The model gained the Car of the Year prize from Auto Express as part of its New Car Honours 2008 ceremony - the fourth gong it has won since being launched in March.

What Car? magazine, What Diesel magazine, The Sun Motoring and Top Gear magazine have all hailed the motor with awards as the year has progressed.

UK managing director of Jaguar Cars Geoff Cousins remarked that he is "absolutely thrilled" with the news.

"This has been a fantastic year for Jaguar with the XF leading the success of our revitalisation plan ... We couldn't be more pleased with the reaction it has received," said the official.

Meanwhile, gadget website T3.com has unearthed pictures of a motorcycle formed in the shape of the Jaguar logo.
