Drivers who are considering taking out Car Finance to buy a new vehicle may be interested in the Fiat 500 after it won an award from a women's motoring website.

The model was voted sexiest car of 2008 by the readers of evecars.com.

Commenting on the accolade, editor Alex Jenner-Furst said: "The Fiat 500 is a great-looking supermini inside and out and is perfect for a city shopping trip, a weekend in the country or doing the school run in style."

A number of British-built cars also proved popular with the website's readers.

The Jaguar XF executive car took second place with 21 per cent of the vote, while the Mini Clubman came a close third with 19 per cent.

In other news which may be of interest to Car Credit customers, Citroen has announced it will unveil a concept coupe at this year's Paris Motor Show in October.

The manufacturer claimed the Hypnos is an "exceptional" cross-over vehicle.
