Toyota tempts car loans customers

10 September 2008

Car Loans customers who are contemplating which model to opt for next may be swayed towards Toyota after seeing what the manufacturer has on offer at the Paris Motor Show.

The carmaker has released additional details of the vehicles which are due to make their debuts at the event at the beginning of October.

Visitors to the show will be able to check out the revised Avensis, the updated Tourer and the iQ – Toyota's new city car.

The manufacturer claims the latter is less than three metres long but can comfortably carry four people safely at speeds of over 100 miles per hour.

It states: "The iQ forms a major milestone in Toyota's environmental commitment and continuous efforts to develop technologies that reduce emissions to much lower levels."

The carmaker's Urban Cruiser 1.4-litre D-4D diesel all-wheel drive is also due to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.

Earlier this month, Toyota announced it was to invest an additional £65 million in its European technical centre in Belgium.
