Car Loans customers who are looking to update their current vehicle with a more eco-friendly model may be interested to hear a green version of Fiat's Panda has just arrived in showrooms across the UK.

Following the launch of the family-friendly Panda Mamy and the four-wheel drive Panda Cross, the new motor is the third edition of the city car announced this summer.

Buyers, including Car Finance customers, will be able to choose between the Active Eco and Dynamic Eco.

Both vehicles have CO2 emission levels of 119 grams per kilometre.

Commenting on the launch, marketing director at Fiat UK Elena Bernardelli said: "This is another example of how seriously we take the environmental issue, while offering drivers real value for money motoring."

The Active Eco has a price tag of £7,105 on the road and the Dynamic Eco £7,705.

Last month, the manufacturer's 500 model won best supermini and top city car in the evecars.com 2008 honours.
