Car loans customers can order iQ

02 October 2008

People who are considering taking out a Car Loan in the next few months to update their vehicle may be interested to hear that the Toyota iQ can be ordered now, with delivery taking place in January.

The final production version of the model makes its debut at this month's Paris Motor Show.

According to the manufacturer, the iQ is so innovative it will stand as an important milestone in future vehicle development.

It states its engineers left no stone unturned in their quest to create a car that is less than three metres long but does not compromise on space, driving fun or comfort.

Environmentally-aware car loan customers may also be pleased to hear that the model's CO2 emissions start at 99 grams per kilometre.

Chief engineer Hiroki Nakajima says he always had the customer in mind when designing the vehicle.

He describes his target market as "post-modern people who demonstrate independence in their choice of lifestyle and values".

Earlier this week, Toyota announced the iQ would feature an airbag designed to protect backseat passengers in the event of a rear-end collision.
