Car Loan customers who are eagerly awaiting the release of Renault's New Megane Coupe and Laguna Coupe in January may be interested to hear the models made their UK debuts in London at the French Chamber of Commerce Business Club cocktail party yesterday.

Some 150 members and dignitaries were treated to an evening at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington sponsored by the manufacturer.

Following their unveilings at the Paris Motor Show, yesterday's event was the first time the New Megane Coupe and Laguna Coupe were seen alongside the New Megane Hatch.

Attendees also had the opportunity to get close up to a C-Type - one of the earliest vehicles from Renault's UK collection.

Commenting on the coupes, Roland Bouchara, managing director with the manufacturer, said: "These stunning new cars herald a new era of chic, French automotive beauty for us."

Meanwhile, it was also announced this week the New Megane Coupe is to feature in the video game Need For Speed Undercover.
