Car Loans customers looking for an environmentally-friendly model which does not compromise on performance may want to take a look at the latest addition to Fiat's line-up.

The manufacturer has announced it has extended its Bravo mid-size hatchback range with a more powerful and economical engine.

It stated the five-door version of the vehicle will now benefit from a 165 bhp 2.0 MultiJet unit.

Commenting on the updated car, Fiat said: "The new version, available in Sport and Dynamic specification, is not just greener, it further underscores the liveliness, flexibility and driving pleasure that have always been features of the Bravo."

For those car loans customers who opt for the engine upgrade, they will find it offers carbon emissions of 139 g/km and can achieve fuel consumption of 53 mpg.

Meanwhile, the Fiat Panda Cross scooped its first major industry award last month being named 4x4 of the Year 2009 by 4x4 and MPV Driver magazine.
