The manufacturer stated its range of sports models can be enjoyed whatever the weather, making them the perfect seasonal gift for a loved one.

Commenting on the Mazda MX-5, sales director Mark Cameron said: "Driving with the top down and the wind in your hair is a perfect antidote to the winter blues."

Meanwhile, the carmaker pointed out the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe includes climate air conditioning with a circulation system featuring top-down settings, so that owners can enjoy the feeling of open-air motoring in freezing conditions.

Interested parties can get their hands on either model with zero per cent finance and a free Mazda Service Plan until December 31st 2008.

Earlier this month, the manufacturer revealed car loans customers who would prefer a Mazda6 will be able to pick up the entry-level version of the new 26-strong line-up for £14,891.
