Cash-strapped motorists keen to take out a Car Loan in order to downsize have been encouraged to consider a new model from Subaru.

The manufacturer claimed the Justy 1.0 Twin Cam Special Edition means drivers can make savings without having to compromise on style.

Based on the Justy 1.0R, the car includes twin exhaust system, rear roof spoiler, rear privacy glass, leather and alloy gear knob - and over-roof viper stripes and side decals.

Subaru stated this extra equipment creates "the perfect blend of inexpensive, economical motoring in a desirable, sporty package".

Numbers of the new model are to be limited to 100 - 50 in Shining Red and 50 in Black Mica.

Car Loans customers will be able to get their hands on the Justy 1.0 Twin Cam Special Edition from £9,995.

Earlier this month, Subaru displayed its all-wheel drive outdoor lifestyle vehicles at the British Equestrian Trade Association International Show, as well as the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show.
