Peugeot and Citroen sign €200-million finance deal to produce hybrid vehicles.

PSA Peugeot Citroen has signed a €200-million loan agreement to finance the manufacturer’s future plans to develop and build plug-in hybrid vehicles. A total of €400-million will be set aside for the hybrid venture, as PSA hopes to build towards a cleaner tomorrow.

The French collective marque wants to break into the fashionable eco market, and in doing so reducing its overall CO2 emissions. The European Investment Bank will be lending the money to PSA, and let’s hope this bank knows what it’s doing with its finances.
