Two primary school teachers have been the unfortunate victims of a previous owner. The pair had feared for their jobs when they discovered five grammes of cocaine in the glovebox.

They contacted the police, to which they confirmed it was £200 worth of cocaine. The couple had purchased the Volkswagen Golf from a local car motor chain, which interestingly has the slogan of “the way car shopping should be”.

Mr Volausek said: “We were told (by police) that it was cocaine. So we contacted the garage about it and they offered to clean the car and that was about it.
“Our concern is that there could be other quantities of the drug elsewhere in the car.

“We are both primary teachers, so we don’t want to be driving our car into school.”
