GMAC-SAIC sets record number of car loans

The GMAC-SAIC Automotive Finance Co, which is a company formed between Ally Financial Inc. and Shanghai Automotive Finance Co., has said that August was a record month with 18,000 new contracts.

The company has also beaten its 2009 figure for Car Loans. In this first eight months of this year, GMAC-SAIC has signed more than 190,000 applications.

Back in 2004, GMAC-SAIC became China’s first operational Car Finance company, and since then has gone on to serve Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and the Wuling brand.
