3p Fuel Rise Could Be Deferred

For those dreading the New Year thanks to the proposed 3p rise in fuel prices, there could well be some hope. Thanks to the continued hard work from fuel duty campaigners like FairFuelUK, it seems the government could be hearing our concerns and there is a chance of the rise being “deferred”. 
 
Spokesman for FairFuelUK, Quentin Wilson, said: "If I was a betting man I would say there is a 70 per cent chance of getting this deferred.
 
"We are going to be meeting each other on a regular basis.
 
"The rise is due in January so we will have news before then."
 
Let’s hope the ex-Top Gear presenter can work his magic and stop this madness! The last thing Car Finance drivers want is another fuel price rise.
