Hi Graham, yes - our free credit check does leave an imprint on your credit profile so please be aware of this before carrying this out on the website. Have you had a look at your credit profile on Experian at all? Do you have good or bad credit? When are you looking to get into a new car? Kind Regards, Edwin

Hello, i had a problem regarding a credit card when i was off work with sickness for two years but i have been paying an agreed amount since then. I am in full time employment but would like to know whether my credit record would have been affected as i need car finance?

Hi Clive, if you missed a few payments on a credit card a few years ago then yes, unfortunately your credit record would have been affected. However, if the credit card account was the only account in which you fell behind we'll still be able to help you obtain car finance. Kind Regards, Edwin
