Can i return my car to Welcome Finance?

Hi, I have a car on finace and want to send it back but the problem i have is that Welcome Car Finance say because i had to restart the agrement as i could not make payments due to work issues thay have said i have no rights to VT my agrrement. Can you tell me if this is so as when we restarted the new agrrement we were not told this. Thanks

Hi Antony, thank you for using our Q&A. Firstly did you sign a new agreement with Welcome finance? If so, when did you sign the new agreement and how far into the new agreement are you? If you are over 50% of the way through the new agreement with Welcome and you have kept your payments up to date then you'll 100% be able to hand the car back to them. Please can you explain to me in more details the situation you find yourself in? If all goes to plan we'll be able to get you accepted for Car Finance and we'll have you in a new car in no time. Just so you know Welcome Car Finance are no longer trading as a business. Edwin
