CarFinance 247’s Christmas Awards Evening 2019
Our annual Christmas Awards Evening is a chance for us to get together, have some fun, and celebrate our 2019 achievements
It’s Christmas – that special time of year when you can slow down, take stock, and celebrate all the great things that have been achieved in 2019.
We celebrate with our annual Christmas Awards Evening. It’s a chance for us all to get together, let our hair down, and celebrate our achievements as a team.
This year’s ceremony took place on a frosty evening in early December at Manchester’s Midland Hotel.
Guests were welcomed in from the cold with a Champagne reception that set the tone for the rest of the night. The Rio brass band kicked off the festive atmosphere and United fans were left smiling thanks to the Manchester Derby being shown on the big screen (sorry City!)
The Midland’s ballroom had been transformed into a snowy winter wonderland for the occasion. Christmas-themed table names (Sprouts anyone?), silver candelabra, and twinkling fairy lights helped set the scene.
A two-course meal was served; roast turkey with all the trimmings or pistachio, quinoa and walnut roulade for the veggies. But the course that got the most compliments? Pudding, of course! A decadent dark chocolate orange ‘Jaffa Cake’ served with Chantilly cream and Cointreau gel was the perfect sweet treat.
But the real highlight of the evening was the Awards Ceremony. The awards honour members of the 247 family that embody our values and have also gone above and beyond at work this year. They’re people who are passionate and proud, bold and resilient, and all about togetherness.
And the winners are… *drumroll please*
Salesperson of the Year Award: Luke Jackson

Congratulations to all our very worthy award winners!
Once all the awards had been handed out, the Cover Cats got everyone up on the dancefloor with a party playlist that included everything from Stevie Wonder to Amy Winehouse. Those not so keen on throwing shapes could head back to the big screen to see Anthony Joshua throw some punches to retain his titles.
Check out a few of our favourite shots from the night below. And here’s to doing it all again next year!
