Can I Get Car Finance While in a Temporary Job?

Hi Rachel, Can I get finance from a garage even though I'm on a temp work contract?

My credit score is excellent and I don't owe any other money apart from my mortgage. I hope to buy a new car with a deposit of £1000 but I'm worried I'll be rejected due to my contract.

I earn a good wage which i can prove with payslips. Many thanks, Claire

Answer

Hi Claire, thank you for your question.

The good news is that we have lenders on our panel that help temporary & contract workers get car finance. We can even beat dealer rates too.

As you have an excellent credit score, no debts and a large deposit i'm very confident we can help get you into a car of your choice.

Please make an application and once approved you can choose a car from any dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Rachel

Hi, we want to get car finance but my husband is self employed with no id or bank account as his money gets paid into my bank and i'm the one with the driving licence and i don't work. Could we still get finance?

Answer

Hi Corrin, we could help but the finance would have to go in your name as your the one with the driving licence and proof of income. We'd only be able to help though if you have good / fair credit history. Is this the case? Rachel

I have a good credit rating and was wondering if there's a chance of getting a car on finance?

Hello, I have applied for car finance with a carloan4u, but they have not been able to obtain finance for me due to the fact that I am on a temporary contract at the moment. I will be offered a permanent contract in 1 and a half months, but I would like to buy a car now, as I have found a really good deal.

I am interested in borrowing £3000 over 5 years. I am working full time, no debts or past problems. Had a bank account for only one year, and only have proof of work history for the past 8 months, as I have been self employed before that, and do not have any proof for that. Is it worth for me to apply as I do not want to make a lot of applications and leave a bad trail of credit application refusals? Thank you

Answer

Hi Bogdan, thank you for your question.

If Carloan4u have got you accepted i'm very confident we could get you approved too as we work with a similar lending panel. We may however come across the same issues but i can't say for sure.

We do have exclusive rates which they don't have so if i were you i'd wait 2 months before you have a permanent position with your employer and then we'd definitely be able to help you out. I take it you have 3 years UK address history as this is important?

Please make an application when you're ready and once approved you can choose a car from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Rachel
