Can You Get Car Finance Without A Drivers Licence?

Can I get car credit if I have no drivers licence? The car is for my family and i'm thinking of letting my husband drive as he has a licence.

Asked by Natasha Warren

Hi Natasha, thank you for your question.

We do have a few lenders on our panel that allow people without a driving licence to get a car loan but you'll need a good credit record. As your husband has a licence could he not apply for the finance as he'd be the one driving the car? You could also make a joint application for car credit which would potentially strengthen the application as both sets of income could be taken into consideration.

Just so you know we do also help people with good and bad credit histories. Please make an application when you have considered your options and if approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer. Kind Regards, Rachel
