Bad credit car finance in Scotland

I live in Scotland and need car finance with bad credit - can you help me out?

Adrian Wiley

Answer

Hi Adrian, the good news is that we have lenders on our panel that help people with poor credit get finance. Obviously, we can't guarantee an approval at this stage but we do specialise in obtaining car finance for those with past credit issues.

We also help many people who live in Scotland obtain bad credit car loans on a monthly basis. I take it you are employed with a UK licence? If so, that'll help our chances!

A deposit and being on the electoral roll can also improve your chances of being accepted but both aren't mandatory. We have access to a wide panel of lenders so i'm reasonably confident that we can help.

Please make an application when you're ready and if accepted we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer. Kind Regards, Rachel

I have a bad credit history,I was made bankrupt 4 and a half years ago, I am 1 year 6 months clear ..and doing well, is it possible for myself to get finance for a used or new car? Thanks

Answer

Hi Stuart, in short the answer is that it's possible to gain vehicle finance in your situation.

We obviously can't guarantee an approval and the majority of lenders require that the bankruptcy be settled/discharged over 12 months ago and want to see that you are trying to improve your credit profile by keeping up to date with any existing accounts. It would be worth making an application so we can see how we can help. Kind Regards, Rachel

Hello, I have poor credit, live in Scotland and am currently not working claiming ESA. Can you help finance a car for me ?

Answer

Hi Stuart, thank you for your question.

We do have a few specialist lenders who help un-employed customers get car finance. As long as you can show your payments going into your bank account and have a UK licence there is a possibility we can help.

We can't guarantee an approval but we'll try our best to get an acceptance for you. Please apply and if approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can buy a car from any dealer. Kind Regards, Rachel

Hello, I am self employed and can prove a part time income through my business account. I also receive working tax credits in my personal account - is this acceptable? Experian say I have a fair credit rating of 821. Thanks, Louise

Answer

Hi Louise, thank you for your question.

We can indeed help self employed people get car finance. The lenders we deal with also help people who receive working tax credits.

Also, as you have a fair credit score i'm reasonably confident (without guaranteeing) that we could get you approved as long as you have a UK licence. Please make an application and if approved you can choose a car from any dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Rachel
