Van Finance Deals for Bad Credit

Hi Rachel, do you offer van finance loans to people with bad credit?

Simon Wells

Answer

Hi Simon, yes we can offer van finance deals and fantastic offers to people like yourself who may have a poor or bad credit history.

Have you seen a van you'd like to purchase already and how much are you looking to borrow? Are you on the voters roll and do you have a full UK driving licence? Are you employed or self employed?

Sorry for all the questions! If you are self-employed you'll need 3 months bank statements as proof of income. If you are employed you'll need 3 months payslips. Please make an application when you're ready and once approved we provide a no obligation quote and you can get a van from any dealer. Kind Regards, Rachel

Hi, i've recently left my full time job to become a self employed courier. I'm torn between buying a van or leasing 1... I'd prefer to lease as i only have about 4k but i worry about my credit rating and the fact i'm just starting as self employed? Any advice? Cheers

Answer

Hi Richard, how is your credit rating at present? If you have bad credit we won't be able to get you approved for van finance but if you currently have good credit we should be able to help out. Thanks, Rachel

Hi Rachel, I'm a self employed builder that requires a new van, as my old one is getting too unreliable. My credit rating is poor, due to mortgage arrears, which are currently reducing as my work has really taken off and i am booked up for the next 6 - 8 moths. Are there any options open to me? I know the van i want, it is a vauxhall vivaro sportive. Can you help? Many thanks, Brendan

Answer

Hi Brendan, we potentially may be able to get you approved for finance around the £5000 mark - would that be of any use? Also, can you prove your income with bank statements, do you have a deposit and are you on the electoral roll? Rachel

Hi, I am self employed with a poor credit history, but i have been trying to pay it back for the last two years and haven't missed any payments. I have been in continuous work for the last 2 years and can prove my income with bank statements and tax returns. I am looking to get a van finance and was wondering if you could help. Please advise.

Answer

Hi K, if you've been paying everything back on time for the last 2 years then there's a strong possibility that we can help even though you have a poor credit history. It's also good to note that you can prove your income with bank statements etc. Would you have a deposit at all and are you on the electoral roll? If so, please make an application on our site and we'll take it from there :-)

I am thinking of getting a van to start my courier business. I have pending contracts but no van. My credit is currently bad and I am a self employed football referee receiving payments mostly cash in hand and some through my account. What options are available in this situation?

Answer

Hi Tony, we may well be able to get you approved in principal but as you have a poor credit history you'll need to be able to prove your income to show you can afford the van. Do you have payslips or bank statements proving your income at all?

Hi Rachel, I run my own limited building company which is expanding at a very quick rate. I have nearly been booked up for 2014. I was in a partnership which I terminated due to my partner taking money from the business without my knowledge, ultimately ending in lots of debt!!

I channelled the debt into a DMP, but am wondering whether it is at all possible to achieve any form of finance for a new van? Am I asking the impossible??!

Answer

Hi Sam, thank you for your question.

We do have lenders that help people in debt management plans get van finance. As long as you can prove 3 months income with bank statements or payslips, have a UK licence and have some current clean credit we should be able to get you approved.

Once approved we offer a no obligation quote and you can choose your van from any dealer. Rachel

Hi there I'm looking for a van around the £5000 mark. I have pretty poor credit, are there any lenders that will give finance without a guarantor?

I don't want to go down that road, every lender I have approached wants a guarantor. Thanks in advance. Marc

Answer

Hi Marc, thank you for your question.

We do have a few lenders on our panel that help people with poor credit obtain van finance. These particular lenders don't necessarily need a guarantor but we do have one lender where if approved a guarantor is required.

Please make an application and once approved you can choose a van from any reputable dealer and we also provide a no obligation quote. Kind Regards, Rachel
