Car loans customers can be among the first to see the new low-emission Honda sports car when it is unveiled at the British International Motor Show later this month.

The lightweight two-seat roadster aims to couple sleek looks with exciting driving and more efficient engine technology, according to the manufacturer.

Named the Open Study Model (OSM), it was designed by Honda's Offenbach, Germany facility.

Although there are no plans for the design study model to go in to production, the manufacturer will gather feedback from motorists to help guide future developments.

It will be joined on the manufacturer's stand by the FCX Clarity – its first hydrogen fuel cell car and the CR-Z hybrid sports car.

The British International Motor Show takes place at ExCel London from July 23rd to August 3rd.

More than 600 cars from 60 marques will be on display at the event.
