People driving new cars and used cars in the UK have disclosed their biggest environmental concerns regarding motoring on a eco-friendly website.
Visitors to TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk have revealed that increasing fuel and vehicle excise costs are worrying motorists.
But site officials added that this may be contributing to interest in sections of the domain with information on biofuels and alternative substances.
"The rising prices at the fuel pumps has corresponded with increasing numbers of visitors on TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk accessing pages on the most economical cars currently available on the market and the top ten green cars in the UK," the site stated.
Meanwhile, London Daily News has reported that another environmentally-friendly taxi is to hit the streets of the capital.
The Peugeot E7 - an electric-powered model which can travel up to 60mph - follows the Mercedes Vito Taxi and costs around £30,000, it added.
