People in the UK can save money by switching their cars for motorbikes, it has been claimed.
A study by charted financial planner Martin Bamford commissioned by Bennetts has found that motorists can keep in reserve some £337,700 over the course of a lifetime by swapping four wheels for two.
It could be that drivers save on car finance and car credit costs by opting for a motorbike rather than an automobile.
Mark Fells, Bennetts marketing director, remarked that the difference in costs between the two vehicles is large.
He said: "We hope that these findings will encourage people to review their personal transport methods in an effort to lower costs and reduce the hassle of commuting."
This comes as the Finance & Leasing Association has revealed that more vehicles are being sold on finance deals this year than one year ago.
