Car loans customers whose number one priority when buying a vehicle is safety may be tempted by the new Honda Accord.
The manufacturer has revealed the model scored the best combined safety rating in its class, in the recently released Euro Ncap crash test results.
Achieving the first-ever three-star pedestrian mark in the large family category, the car also scooped five stars for adult protection and four for child safety.
Commenting on the Accord, Ken Keir, managing director at Honda UK, said: "Customers can experience the most effective safety technologies put into practice, with our goal of providing safety for everyone."
People taking out car loans for the model will find the vehicle has a comprehensive list of features designed to protect the driver and passengers, including active head restraints, dual-stage front airbags and a collision mitigation braking system.
Meanwhile, Honda announced a new ecological drive assist system earlier this month, which is designed to help drivers achieve better fuel economy.
