People who have recently taken out car loans in order to buy Land Rover models can be confident their new vehicles will be able to deal with all weather conditions, it has been claimed.
With the Met Office issuing warnings regarding hazardous road conditions, the manufacturer stated drivers can rely on its motors to get them to their destinations.
It pointed out it has a range of highly-capable vehicles, offering features such as four-wheel drive, hill descent control and terrain response.
According to Land Rover, all this technology helps to provide motorists with peace of mind when travelling in icy or wet conditions.
The manufacturer is currently offering owners complimentary seasonal tests.
Managing director John Edwards explained: "Poor driving conditions should be taken very seriously, so we are offering free winter health checks for all Land Rover customers."
Last month, the manufacturer announced it was cancelling its G4 Challenge programme in order to concentrate on product launches for 2009.
