Car loans customers looking for a motor which offers a high resale value may want to check out Alfa Romeo's latest model.
According to the manufacturer, figures from industry expert Cap have revealed the Alfa MiTo is expected to hold on to more of its original price tag than any other vehicle after one year and 10,000 miles.
Over that period of time, it is predicted the 1.3 JTDM model will retain 81 per cent of its value - five per cent more than its closest rival from Mini.
Commenting on the findings, used vehicle remarketing manager Simon Wheeler said: "This is significant testimony to the exceptional attention to detail Alfa Romeo has applied to this car in terms of design, build quality, reliability, running costs and desirability."
Last November, the manufacturer revealed the Alfa MiTo had been awarded the top five-star rating in its Euro Ncap crash safety tests.
