Motorists planning to take out car loans next year for new vehicles may be tempted by the latest model from Seat.
The manufacturer has announced it intends to release the Ibiza ST in 2010 - the third auto in the range.
Joining the five-door and SC versions of the model, the new supermini estate offers outstanding style, comfort and practicality, the company claimed.
The car has been created by Seat's design chief Luc Donckerwolke - who used to work for Lamborghini - and the firm explained he had been keen to introduce a sporty feel into "a traditionally dowdy market sector".
Erich Schmitt, the manufacturer's president, commented: "Customers want attractive, top quality vehicles regardless of whether times are good or bad."
Meanwhile, head of Seat in the UK Peter Wyhinny predicted the Ibiza ST would prove a big hit with a wide variety of drivers in Britain.
In related news, the upcoming model's two siblings recently won Red Dot design awards.
