Motorists looking to take out car loans for new vehicles later this year may want to consider a new addition to the Renault range.
Due to arrive in showrooms across the UK in June, the Megane Hatch Extreme is priced from £13,250.
This entry-level version of the car is available in 1.6 100 and 1.5 dCi 86 versions and the manufacturer described the model as "frugal, refined and stylish".
It also claimed motorists keen to tighten their belts will not be forced to compromise on equipment if they opt for the Extreme.
The vehicle comes with air conditioning, ESP, front electric windows and a 4x15W radio/RDS/CD/MP3 unit as standard.
Renault also pointed out the car offers better value for money than a number of its rivals.
"The chic French newcomer undercuts its significantly lesser-powered rival - the five-door Ford Focus Studio 1.4 Duratec 80PS - by a considerable £1,540," it stated.
Car loans customers can order the model immediately.
Earlier this month, Renault announced the New Grand Scenic - which goes on sale in the UK in May - will cost from £14,995.
