The electric, world saving, celebrity endorsed US motor company Tesla has received a financial boost and positive feedback from the initial public stock offering earlier this week. The small outfit has become a the status symbol for electric power and the strong showing on the NASDAQ on Monday only exemplifies its continued rise to the top of the American consciousness.

Its initial price for IPO stood at $17 a share, and it continued to rise until it hit the midday peak of around $25. Happily, the Tesla bosses have said the car financial gains from this endeavour will go towards the funding of its next production vehicle; the Model S.

Car finance and the finances of many car manufacturers have been under tight scrutiny over the past few years, but it seems that electric propulsion is the buzz word for success in today’s climate conscious market.
