The US is wowed by Honda’s CR-Z

Honda is hoping the allure of its new CR-Z hybrid will encourage young drivers to take our car finance on the car. The US launch went like a presidential election - typically American, typically over-the-top.

The CR-Z was displayed on a huge 3D, HD screen in Times Square and it allowed customers the chance to sit in Gran Turismo 5 racing simulators. Tom Peyton, senior manager of national advertising of American Honda Motor, said: "This 3D experience in Times Square integrates advertising, gaming and music into a single, memorable event."

The CR-Z has already become a popular choice for the individual that wants economy and sporting characteristics, and with this American launch it seems Honda is out for all it can get.
