Toyota suffers financial bombshell with another recall

Don’t you just love the motoring world? There’s always a good news story to be had, but none more so than the current list of Japanese car manufacturers who are struggling with reliability – oh, the irony.

Toyota has yet again issued another recall, which must call into question the marques’ car finances for the coming months. The recall affects the small iQ city car – although, it’s probably best to add that this recall isn’t as serious as the previous ones.

The problems are related to the electric power steering (EPS) system and will take around 2 hours to fix. In total 12,000 vehicles are to be recalled in the UK, and it affects cars produced between 11 September 2008 and 22 October 2010.
