It’s been probably the most delayed and anticipated game of all time, but Gran Turismo 5 is now finally with us – and boy, it’s good. So good in fact, that the sales figures of the latest ‘real driving simulator’ hit 5million in the 12 days after it launched.

Europe seem to be the biggest hotbed of Lewis Hamilton wannabes, as we bought 3.56m copies of it – a fair chunk more than America’s 1.25m contribution. It’s no surprise that GT5 has been success. The franchise is the most successful in driving game history and GT5 has been looked over in pedantic detail. The creators took a huge gamble with their car finances, but thankfully for them, it seems that the gamble paid off.
