Perhaps it’s the shameful and shockingly awkward way the celebrities are perceived in the adverts that put us off – whatever it is we don’t like them.

It’s a bit like those terrible perfume adverts – they don’t make sense and have no relevance what so ever. Are we finally becoming tired of the celebrity culture that has dominated our social lives for so long? That’s doubtful, but it does show that consumers aren’t conned into buying a car just because a famous face say’s “hey, go buy this”.
