Irish car finances back on track in 2010

After the disaster that was 2009, Ireland was hoping for a prosperous car finance year in 2010, and that’s exactly what it got. According to new figures, the Irish car market sold 88,373 cars – compared to 2009’s 55,578 sold.

A lot of the extra sales are said to be down to the Government’s scrappage scheme, apparently nearly 17,000 new cars were sold due to the scheme last year. Undoubtedly the Irish market will be hoping to add a few more figures for 2011.
