More banks continue to crawl back to car finance

According to the British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA), there has been an increase in banks that are re-entering the car finance market this year.

According to the British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA), there has been an increase in banks that are re-entering the car finance market this year. The growth is due to the continued demand for contract hire from car finance consumers, and 2011 is proving to be the year when a number of banks return to business.

It is good news for the car finance sector as it enables customers to shop around and get the best price possible for their new car. Competition often breeds low prices so let’s hope that applies here, too.
