Through selling via car finance and out-right payment, Land Rover has managed to keep the Freelander a continued success, and the company has just produced the 250,000th Freelander made at the Halewood plant on Merseyside.

The milestone car was a Fuji White TD4 Diesel GS with the 2.2-litre engine. The achievement marks an achievement by the site that only started producing the 4x4 variant in 2007. It’s success lies in its 4x4 ability combined with relative small size and lofty driving position.
