Will the new BMW M5 attract car finance buyers?

BMW has finally announced the prices and performance figures of its flagship performance saloon, the M5. The new super-saloon will feature a twin-turbocharged V8 with over 550bhp and MPG figures that are 25% better than the outgoing V10 model.

Will the specs of the M5 entice car finance buyers to part ways with their hard-earned? Or will the £70,000+ price tag put them off? Time will tell, but we’ll have a proper good look at the new M5 at the up-and-coming Shanghai Motor Show later in April.

After 20 years of M5s littering the roads, does the new variant fit the bill with regards to the aesthetics? We think it does: subtle yet menacing. Nice.
