And so the Saab saga continues. The Swedish marque has been through the mill over the past few years, but it seems some good news has finally arrived.

And so the Saab saga continues. The Swedish marque has been through the mill over the past few years, but it seems some good news has finally arrived. Spyker, the owner of Saab, has been struggling to find extra finances needed to continue production, but Chinese manufacturer, Hawtai Motor Group, has come in and saved the day.

The joint car finance venture will see €150 million available to Saab for manufacturing, technology and distribution. It’s another Far East takeover of European brands; is this new trend for 2011 and the future? Time will tell.
