Nico Rosberg and seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher have sat down and done an interview with the Bild newspaper. They reveal how Mercedes’ line-up for 2012 is almost certainly going to be the two of them, and of how they are disappointed not to of been at the front of the car finance grid in this year’s Formula One world championship.

"We thought we would be right at the front this year," said Rosberg.

"But this is also an exciting situation, to build together a successful future. Sitting in the Silver Arrow is an honour and the thought of winning in one is something special. It is worth it to be patient," he said.

Seven time world champion Schumacher was asked how long his run in F1 would last:
"I can't say. But, anyway, I'll be here next year."

"I would like to repeat myself that I feel very, very happy here. But I never talk publicly about contractual issues,” added ex-Williams driver Rosberg.
