Rare Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa set to break car finance record

The original test-mule and prototype for the entire Testa Rossa will go up for sale at Pebble Beach next month and it’s expected to break the car finance record for a car. The sellers have stated that this is the most important Ferraris ever to go up for sale and they are hoping that the beautiful 250 Testa Rossa will make them very rich.

"Being in the presence of the 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa Prototype is a visceral and breathtaking experience unlike anything I've ever known," said David Gooding, president and founder of auctioneers Gooding and Company.

"We will all witness a historic day when this incredible car – one of the greatest race cars of all time – crosses our stage in Pebble Beach this August."

It’s got some record to beat, however, if it is to take the title from the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, which was sold in 2010 for £20m.
