Japanese marques back on to car finance recover

After the disasters that Japan faced a few months ago, most of the major Japanese car companies suffered huge losses and production problems, but now it seems everything – including car finance – is getting back to normality. Nissan, Honda and Toyota are all on the up after the incredible destruction caused by the earthquakes and tsunami early this year.

"Our rapid recovery from the natural disasters in March once again shows the power of Nissan in responding effectively and decisively to crisis," said Nissan president Carlos Ghosn.

While Toyota also stated: "In the UK we see every chance of hitting pre-earthquake targets in part thanks to new models, like the Yaris."

It’s some good news for the country that lost so much during those hard few weeks.
