Mugen RR shows what can be done with CR-Z

After the seriously disappointing news that Britain’s Mugen-developed CR-Z wouldn’t be going into production, we’ve got some salvation in the form of the Japanese’s Mugen RR CR-Z.

After the seriously disappointing news that Britain’s Mugen-developed CR-Z wouldn’t be going into production, we’ve got some salvation in the form of the Japanese’s Mugen RR CR-Z. The RR shows just how bonkers the car finance hybrid CR-Z can be if you’ve got an endless budget, racing technology and lots of orange paint.

There’s no word on the power upgrades under the bonnet, but Mugen has said that the suspension is race-derived, lots and lots of carbon-fibre and a lovely twin-exit exhaust. And while all that sounds lovely, looks lovely and we’re sure it’ll feel lovely, the good news ends there, as Mugen has said this RR won’t go into production either.

Listen Honda; all we want is a faster CR-Z with no-less than 200bhp. Now get it sorted!
