End of the car finance career in F1 for Barrichello in 2014?

Rubens Barrichello has said he doesn’t expect to be driving in F1 when the FIA introduces the new V6-powered engines in 2014. Currently, the Brazilian is the most experienced driver in F1 history, and he’s also one of the most likable characters in the paddock, but he has said he would noty be expecting to still be driving when that change comes in.

Speaking to Globe Esporte, Barrichello said: "It is a very big internal war; it was going to be four cylinder and now it's V6. We're not exactly sure what will happen," he said.

Talking about the V6 engine change: "That's for three years from now. At that time, I will not be in formula one but at Disneyland, eating hamburgers and riding the rollercoaster."

For now, though, he claims he’ll be staying at Williams.

"In formula one there are always surprises; you can never guarantee that something is fixed," said Barrichello.
