According to a survey of 3,000 people, 95% of the British public have said no to winter tyres. That’s right; just 5% of the people asked said they will put on some winter boots for the forthcoming snow, which begs this question: are we being impossibly stupid?

Car finance drivers are all too aware of the issues that deep snow can cause, so why wouldn’t we buy some new tyres designed to cope with the snow and ice? Well, we’re all skint, basically! Nobody wants to shell out on expensive tyres, and it’s that reason that keeps us from buying such an improvement safety-derived bit of tech.

Let’s hope we all learned how to drive on snow from last year.
