Ex-racers judge Hamilton’s 2012

Ex-Formula 1 racers are always keen to cast their opinion on how the current crop are doing, and with Britain’s Lewis Hamilton continually in the headlines for the duration of the 2011 season, it seems a natural place to start for the former champions to get their teeth into.

Ex-Formula 1 racers are always keen to cast their opinion on how the current crop are doing, and with Britain’s Lewis Hamilton continually in the headlines for the duration of the 2011 season, it seems a natural place to start for the former champions to get their teeth into.

Speaking about McLaren’s ace, Keke Rosberg said: "In the past, Lewis has certainly made mistakes in the professional organisation of his life," to the Finnish broadcaster MTV3.

"You can't go flying every other week to America when you're making a serious job of being a formula one driver," he said.

"He says he wants to win all the races this season. That's quite a claim.

"I would think Jenson Button wonders how he will do it when he will probably win a few races in the same car," said Rosberg.

But is Rosberg right? Will Hamilton struggle again in 2012 or will his new management company and the fact that he’s back with Nicole help him secure another championship?

Roll on Melbourne.
