Insurance Prices are Coming Down!

Thank the lord for that! Even if you don’t believe in a higher power, it’s probably time to thank someone because, unbelievably, it seems that car insurance prices are finally coming down. According to the AA, car insurance prices dropped 2.9 per cent from July to September 2012 on an average fully comprehensive premium.

AA Insurance director Simon Douglas said: "Competition is tough in the insurance market, forcing many companies to reduce premiums despite the fact that costs show little sign of abating. Nevertheless, some are still increasing premiums.”

"Motor insurance has been a focus of Government attention for some time and next year, new legal reforms are expected to reduce the cost of personal injury claims and fraud.”

It seems like a lifetime since insurance prices came down – as they have been rising for some time now – but will the trend continue? Will the increased sign of competition force prices down?
