Carfinance247 Announces New Appointment

Following a phenomenally successful year, Carfinance247, the online motor finance specialist, has today announced the appointment of Matt Heaney as Head of Sales Strategy.

Matt, previously Operations Director at CarLoan4U (now Zuto), has worked in the automotive financial sector for over 15 years.  He will oversee the organisation’s sales strategy and is tasked with improving efficiencies, as well as overseeing the implementation of a brand new, cutting-edge CRM system. 
 
Carfinance247 saw rapid growth in the past financial year, reporting a 280% increase in turnover compared to 2014.  With sales nearing £10million, it has increased its staff from 55 to 165 and acquired a second 5,500 square foot office to accommodate further predicted expansion. 
 
Managing Director Reg Rix said: “Matt is a key appointment for us. We wanted an industry expert to drive forward our sales strategy and build upon the remarkable success we’ve seen; his skills are perfectly matched for this demanding role. Having worked in motor finance since he was 16, Matt brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Personally, he is articulate, professional and very analytically-minded, which will add an extra dimension to our existing management team, helping to continue our fast-paced growth and push us on to the next level.”
 
Just like Carfinance247, Matt has experienced a fast-track to success throughout his career.  31 year old Matt, from Middlewich, Cheshire, started his career as a data entry clerk with Choice Finance UK at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks to Operations Manager. From there he joined CarLoan4U (now Zuto) and enjoyed similar success, progressing from one of a handful of sales advisors in 2008 to the Operations Director of 200 employees in 2014. 
 
Speaking of his plans for the new role, Matt said, “I’m really excited to join the team at such a fantastic time, when the company is breaking all records and going from strength-to-strength.  I come from an environment that was used to high levels of growth in a short period of time, so I hope to utilise that experience to accelerate the tremendous expansion that Carfinance247 has enjoyed recently. I’ll be helping to deliver the organisation’s overall sales strategy by streamlining internal and customer-focussed processes and systems.  There are some really exciting things happening behind the scenes, which (once implemented) will drive efficiency and build upon our already first-class customer service."
