Car loans customers 'could do worse than Citroen'

Citroen and Hyundai are a great option for those looking for a new or used car, according to one expert.

Writing for the Telegraph, Mike Rutherford has pointed to the two manufacturers as good examples of how motorists should spend their cash when looking for a new or used car, which could be of help to those with approved car finance.

He states that when looking for a new car, Citroen offer good value for money when bought new and advises that the manufacturers used cars are also a great option.

"Bargain hunters can do no better than buy a big, petrol-engined Citröen, Hyundai, Peugeot or Renault because they can be had for next to nothing," he writes.

He adds that Hyundai represent a great purchase either new or used, stating that the manufacturer offers a warranty package that is ahead of their competitors.

"Hyundai's and Kia's industry-leading warranties make them great buys because, even when they're 36 months old, they still have years of their original manufacturer/dealer guarantees remaining."

Hyundai last week announced its cheapest-ever new car, the Hyundai Amica Atlantic, which according to Auto Express will come with a price tag of £4,995.
