Audi is to unveil its latest A4 at the Frankfurt motor show, which could be good news for those with approved car finance.
According to Auto Express the new car is expected to cost under £20,000 for the basic model and could pose a threat to the likes of BMW and Mercedes.
The magazine states that the German manufacturer has kitted out the new models with an improved chassis, revised trim levels and a range of new engines with buyers having the choice of five different versions.
The basic A4 has a 1.8-litre TFSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel versions available - from which drivers can expect 160 bhp and 143 bhp respectively.
Audi have also announced a reworked 2.7-litre diesel, 3.2-litre V6 FSI, and a 3.0-litre TDI that gives out 240 bhp and goes from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds.
It is expected that the new A4s will be available later this year and will include a number of other innovative products such as adaptive cruise control and an enhanced driver information system.
Auto Express awarded Audi's A4 cabriolet the honour of Best Used Car in 2007 for the third year running.
