Fiat has revealed its latest attempt to lure car finance customers looking for a more eco-friendly purchase.
According to Auto Express the Italian manufacturer is set to unveil its latest model, the Panda Aria, to audiences at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week.
The magazine reports the new car, which could be available to new car loans customers in 2009, emits around 65g per km of CO2 and is expected to fully comply with new European exhaust regulations.
It is thought that the Aria will be a radical new take on the existing Fiat Panda and will offer between 64 and 105 bhp on a choice of engine sizes.
Auto Express also claims that Fiat is rumoured to be applying the same eco-technology on these engines to its new 500 model as well as a new vehicle set to rival recent offerings from Toyota and Volkswagen.
Last month the magazine revealed details of Fiat's new 1.4-litre Grande Punto which boasts air-conditioning, 17-inch alloys, and sports seats with a price tag of between £11,995 for a three-door version and £12,595 for the five-door model.
